Salary Guidelines

Co-op students must be paid at least the minimum wage of the applicable work location.
As an employer, you set the salary. The salary varies based on your organization, the student's field of study and experience level. 
Here's are what you need to know:
•    All placements must be paid and meet minimum wage requirements based on the region
•    Co-op students are your employees and may be compensated (hourly or salary)
•    BC minimum wage is $18.25/hour as of June 1, 2026
•    All postings must include a pay range per the BC Pay Transparency Act
