Science Co-op Carousel Contest - Wednesday, August 6th to Monday, August 25th 2025 (9:00 AM PDT)
This year, we invite you to share a series of photos that walk us through a “Day in the Life” of your current Co-op work term.
We're thinking 4-8 photos in the Instagram Carousel post format - show us how you’re combining your academic learning with on-the-job experience, how your team collabs and everything in between – like the iced matcha latte spot where the vibe checks out, favourite self care practices or the emotional support pet at the office (especially the emotional support pet at the office).
Consider:
- What’s your favourite part of the job?
- What tasks or type of work do you usually perform (with permission from your employer if there is sensitive information)?
- How do you spend your lunch breaks?
- How do you connect with others in your workplace?
- What makes your co-op experience memorable?
We’re thrilled by the impactful work that you’re doing in STEM and so curious about your Co-op experiences. To entice you to bring us along one of your work days, there are three $100 Uber Eats gift cards to be awarded as prizes for the entries voted as favourites by our team!
To enter, submit your Day in the Life photos from your current Co-op work term to this Qualtrics form and follow us on Instagram @ubcsciencecoop. Feel free to share your video on your platforms and tag us on IG (#MyUBCScienceCoopDay). The contest will close on Monday, August 25th, 2025 (9:00 AM PDT).
By entering your photos in the UBC Science Co-op Day in the Life photo contest, you are allowing consent for the program to use your photos for marketing purposes. When submitting/posting photos, please ensure to respect the privacy of your employer and do not submit images/audio/video containing confidential or sensitive content unless you have received consent to do so. If you are submitting media content of/with individuals other than yourself, please ensure that you have received their consent to do so.
