UBC Science Co-op "Day in the Life" Video Contest

Science Co-op Photo Contest - Wednesday, July 17 to Wednesday, August 21, 2024 (9:00 AM PDT)

This year, we invite you to share a “Day in the Life” video about your co-op experience! Share your daily work routine, before, during and after work. In a 1 minute video (Instagram reel, Youtube short, TikTok), introduce your co-op job for other students to see. Be creative!

Consider:

  • What’s your favourite part of the job?
  • What tasks or type of work do you usually perform (with permission from your employer if there is sensitive information)?
  • How do you spend your lunch breaks?
  • How do you connect with others in your workplace?
  • What makes your co-op experience memorable?

There are three $100Uber Eats gift cards to win! The Science Co-op office will vote on the top two videos. To enter, submit your “Day in the Life” video from your current Co-op work term to this Qualtrics form and follow us on Instagram @ubcsciencecoop. Feel free to share your video on your platforms and tag us on IG (#MyUBCScienceCoopDay). The contest will close on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 (9:00 AM PDT).

By entering your video in the UBC Science Co-op Day in the Life video contest, you are allowing consent for the program to use your video for marketing purposes. When submitting/posting videos, please ensure to respect the privacy of your employer and do not submit images/audio/video containing confidential or sensitive content unless you have received consent to do so. If you are submitting media content of/with individuals other than yourself, please ensure that you have received their consent to do so.
