Mathematics & Mathematical Sciences

Mathematics opens you to a world of opportunities. Whether you are interested in research, education, academia, business or software, the Co-op experience provides you with a perfect platform to explore options. Co-op exposes you to the many facets of a career in mathematics, along with the opportunity to explore your interests in other related areas in science. The Co-op work experience will enable you to build your personal network connections and learn critical skills not taught in a classroom. Typically, you would complete two eight-month work terms. There is a need for some basic statistics and computer science courses as basic skills are valued and may be required for a successful job placement.
