UBC Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences (BPSc) students are prepared for a diverse range of careers in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, supported by a rigorous curriculum that includes nanomedicine, pharmacokinetics, medicinal chemistry, clinical epidemiology, and systematic pharmacology. This is complemented by three advanced laboratory courses emphasizing molecular, biochemical, and quantitative analytical techniques. Through these hands-on experiences, students develop the ability to design and execute experiments, critically analyze data, and communicate scientific findings effectively. Together, this training equips BPSc students with strong technical and analytical skills, enabling them to make meaningful contributions in UBC Science Co-op placements and positioning them for success in competitive scientific careers.

- Be a full-time UBC (Vancouver) student in good academic standing in mathematics, English and the sciences

- Be flexible and willing to accept a work placement outside the Lower Mainland

Their project may involve a combination of online research and interviews with stakeholders. At the end of the term, the student will present to A&V leadership and will be assessed based on the quality and depth of their work. The student will also have opportunities to interact with Pfizer sales, medical and marketing colleagues and accompany the BC Access manager to various events Pfizer contributes to in the BC Life Sciences ecosystem. This is primarily a remote position which will have weekly virtual touchpoints with their supervisor.
